Calamintha grandiflora 'Variegata'

Callirhoe involucrata
'Wine Cups'
zone 4-9

Another very long bloomer. This plant should be more popular! Once it starts blooming in late spring, it just does not stop! HOT magenta flowers look like mini hibiscus flowers (Malvacea) atop of lacy leaves. This plant does great in hot, sunny, poor growing areas. Spreads into a mat and gets about 1 ft tal. Drought tolerant. Rabbits and groundhogs can be a problem, as they find this plant as great as you will.

Culture:
Full to part Sun, Well-drained average to poor soil.

Clematis 'Jackmanii'

Vigorous in flower & growth. One of the best blooming vines! Dark purple blooms, yellow stamens. Full sun for tops, roots prefer well mulched shade.

Convallaria majalis 'Bourdeaux'
Convallaria majalis 'Boureaux'
Lily of the Valley

This plant remainds many people of their relatives and brings back great memories with its strong heady smell. This variety of Lily of the Valley is an upgrade from the 'normal' one. Its larger strands of bell shaped, pearl-like flowers are held high above the strap-shaped leaves in the spring.
The stems are an attractive red color and are extra long to make for even better cut flowers. Later in the summer they will get red berries (which are poisonous).

Culture: Full Shade to Part Shade. Prefers medium moisture but will tolerate some drought. Rich garden soil helps blooms as well as a balanced fall fertilizer for best flower production.
