Living Terrariums
Terrariums are a great way to bring the peace of nature into your personal living space and are fun to watch grow and mature.

Shawangunk Growers
has collaborated with our friends, Brooke & Brian Holtzhammer of Family Tree Glass in Vermont to bring you these living works of art. Their glass is thick, organic and magnifying to bring the natural world of the living plant close up to enjoy.

We also carry a much thinner and less artistic style of glass to offer terrariums to customers at a more affordable price. Both are beautiful, but at first glance you can see the difference in quality.

Our terrariums come in three environments :

Living Moss
Care: North-Eastern, Due North or North-West window exposure. Indirect light. Moss likes humidity, use an eye-dropper or spray bottle every other week to lightly moisten the its surface if needed. Please do not over water. Will need less water in cooler environments.

Living Desert
Care: South-East, Due South, South West or West window exposure. At least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight a day. The Sedum and Hens and Chicks we use like it on the drier side. Water sparingly every three weeks to once a month. Please DO NOT over water.

Living Sedona
See care for Living Desert. Difference is they have special red rocks in their soil.
